Are you guys getting back into the gym for the Near Year? I know that I am trying to be more consistent. It helps me mentally to go more and be consistent. I feel better about myself. I was already going to the gym, but I am being honest here when I say that it was not every day, and sometimes I was skipping more than 1 or 2 days.
I don't wake up every morning feeling motivated to go to the gym, especially because I have a business I co-own and have to co-operate and run and which I am responsible for. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my business, but I have to act accordingly, treating it as a priority. It's a struggle to pick between the gym and my business tasks, which items come first and which points can wait. Both are important and both need to get done. It's a struggle, but it's part of the life I chose and I truly LOVE this life. Every. Single. Moment. The good AND the bad. In short: the struggle is part of the overall good. It's actually quite great!
Just a quick thought I wanted to share that sometimes it's just mind over matter. What do you want? Do you want to get fit? Just get to the gym. Getting there is half the battle. The work you put in will pay off in so many aspects of your life: health, the way you feel, your love life, your business, your energy; the list goes on.
Keep in mind that anything you want is truly within your reach. Set goals, map out your strategy, take baby steps, and eventually, you WILL get there. I know I am trying.... Try with me! Let's get motivated.
